Project summary

The project “Digital Research Infrastructure for Humanities and Arts DARIAH-PL” was included in the Polish Roadmap for Research Infrastructure in 2020. The main and direct objective of the project is to develop a national smart digital research infrastructure for the humanities and arts by creating a national ecosystem for interdisciplinary research on archaeological materials and cultural heritage.

The infrastructure, which is the main result of the project, will be available for use in both national and international research and scientific projects, as well as in projects carried out in cooperation with commercial partners. The results of the project, such as research object processing services, research data linking, and tools for implementing advanced research scenarios, will contribute to strengthening Polish digital humanities and art sciences.

The infrastructure will support the removal of barriers to access to connected digital resources and tools, including for people with disabilities, and will have a positive impact on the implementation of equal opportunities policies.
